Country Club Plaza Parking Needs Assessment

The Country Club Plaza mixed-use shopping district in Kansas City, Missouri, was recently purchased in a joint venture by Taubman and Macerich. This created the need to better understand existing conditions and constraints within the current parking system, as well as opportunities for improvement and expansion. The joint venture requested that a parking study be performed which would include confirmation of the parking supply, analysis of the City of Kansas City’s required spaces per use, observation of parking utilization patters, and the projection of future demand for various program design scenarios.
