Diego is a Principal and the Director of Building Envelope, Forensics and Restoration in Walker’s downtown Chicago office, where he leads a team of talented architects and engineers. He has extensive experience in concrete durability, structural evaluation, and repair design of structures built with concrete, steel, wood, and masonry. Diego has worked in the evaluation and repair of a variety of structures, such as 19th-century churches, mid and high-rise buildings, parking structures, historical structures, cooling towers, and bridges. Diego has also worked with numerous hospitality, medical, education, commercial, residential, and public/private clients. Diego’s research background allows him to effectively determine the root cause of an issue and provide creative and cost-effective repairs using the latest repair techniques and materials. Diego was also awarded ICRI’s Top 40 Under 40 Award for his involvement in the repair industry.
