James is a Restoration Engineer in Walkers’ Chicago (Loop) office. His work primarily focuses on analysis, evaluation, design, and construction administration services for the repair of concrete structures. He also has experience with the rehabilitation of post-tensioning, steel members, masonry, waterproofing, and various building envelope systems. Additionally, James is rope access certified and helps with hands-on assessment of high-rise façades and difficult access areas.
James has diverse experience serving public and private clients in the education, government, healthcare, entertainment, hospitality, and residential sectors. His liberal arts education has also given him strong communication and critical thinking skills. His experience and intuitive structural understanding help him understand his client’s needs, work effectively with contractors, and create practical solutions to complex problems.
